The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) Apprenticeship programme is delivered in partnership with various employers in the South Yorkshire area.
You'll be working on site and going to a College or a Training Provider to gain a nationally recognised qualification (NVQ) in your chosen sector.
If successful, you will be placed on a two year Apprenticeship in College starting in September 2017. You'll learn the job both on-site and by attending a locally approved College “ and you'll be employed, earning and learning throughout the apprenticeship.
Age 16-18 preferable - school leaver's who have recently completed their GCSE's
Must be punctual, a good time-keeper and motivated
You will attend your local College for your training and must have the ability to travel there
Maths and English GCSE grades A-C preferred but not essential
You must not hold any previous construction related qualifications, i.e. NVQs
Hours & Days of Work:
A Maximum of 40 hours per week “ times/days will be depend on the employer
Will vary with employer (at least the National Apprenticeship Wage “ current rate £3.40 per hour)
