As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for generating CAD files for our client's manufacturing partners.

Ensuring that all designs are fit for manufacturing, you will ensure they will function correctly against specifications and have been created in accordance with customer's requests.

Specifically, your role will involve:
Providing ˜clean' manufacturing files which enable manufacturers to create products with minimal intervention
Ensuring designs are fit for purpose, adhere to specifications and designed to the correct dimensions
Providing technical support for design solutions
Maintaining and updating process maps and standards
Supporting the Technical Team Supervisor as required
Producing reports and information
As part of your role, you may be required to undertake travel to client meetings, external training and conferences from time-to-time.

Interested? If so, you must have:
A degree (or equivalent) in an engineering related subject
Ideal candidates will possess around two years' experience as a CAD Technician, however this is by no means essential.

Attentive and diligent, as a CAD Technician, you will also need a close attention to detail, a meticulous approach to your work and the ability to work well in a team environment. Strong relationship building skills are also key.
