Job Description

Position overview
This role is responsible for developing the set-up, processes and procedures of STA Travel's Business Travel Team through excellent sales performance and effective management of all resources. To lead, manage motivate & develop a high performing team and to ensure all customers and clients are provided with excellent levels of service.
What you're accountable for?
Demonstrate clear leadership to drive, motivate and support a team.
Coach all team members effectively
Use all available MI to manage team effectively
Follow appropriate performance management to implement target plans and deliver improvement
Plan staffing levels to support business requirements
Ensure all BT Execs have a clear understanding of their role and objectives
Ensure company best practice procedures are adopted
Use Mystery shop and check controls to ensure quality of work is high and consistent
Responsible for effective recruitment
Identify individual training needs and ensure coaching and training plans are implemented
Responsible for correct invoicing and managing credit limits
Liaise with BDM's & Finance pre contract to ensure credit facility is sufficient for projected sales as per ticket deadlines
Negotiate airline contracts suitable for individual account.
Manage Accounts at a senior level
Deal promptly and efficiently with any customer relations issues
Work closely with peer group to ensure service is consistent
Consistently deliver a high level of customer service and account management
Ensure all account management is tracked via ˜salesforce' and in line with agreed internal processes
Maintain a high level of competitor awareness and modify approach where necessary to compete.
Has experience of working in a business travel arena
Has experience of working in a group travel arena
Is familiar with Amadeus and AETM advantageous.
