RE teacher “ One of our thriving South East Wales secondary schools are seeking a qualified RE teacher for a long term position that for the right person could be made permeant.
This high achieving secondary school are hoping for the right candidate to start ASAP. Initially the post will be supply covering a long term absence until the summer months, where there is a more permanent position expected to become available. The successful RE teacher will be given full support by an extremely supportive HOD and be part of a desirable Teaching community. Your timetable will more than reasonable and will you be given time for marking work (you will not be asked to do cover).
An English Medium, Catholic Voluntary Aided School for girls and boys aged 11-18 years in the Archdiocese of Cardiff. It was established to provide secondary education for the Catholic population of South East Wales. Since then it has flourished with over 1400 students on roll, including 300 students in the Sixth Form. This is initially supply covering for an RE teacher who will be absent for around 10-12 weeks. The school have specified that anyone applying MUST have;
QTS in Secondary RE teaching , PGCE/BEd or similar teacher training
Knowledge of the RE curriculum across both key stage 3 and 4
Commitment to high levels of teaching and marking/planning
Full time availability from Septmeber 2016
